Come Join in the Fun & Fellowship at our First Fun-Raising Event for UNITY FELLOWSHIP at the SILVER DINER RESTAURANT located in Jefferson Commons, Jefferson Ave. Newport News., beginning in August.

Silver Diner has an excellent menu, many healthy choices, some gluten-free items, as well as “diner” standards and a kid-friendly menu. Yummy shakes and ice cream desserts,
healthy shakes and smoothies and serving breakfast any time they are open! Good Food • Great Prices. Silver Diner has an excellent program to help organizations n the community raise money; we are coordinating items we can place on our table in the lobby the night of our fun-raiser for sale, and/or for information. Ideas include jewelry and art for sale, a fifty-fifty cash drawing, a silent auction, to name a few. In exchange for allowing them to host our event, we receive a percentage of sales (both food and their gift cards!) in the restaurant between the hours of 5 and 9 PM that evening.

You are invited to show up in support of our church, and spread the word to friends, family, foes, everyone...because it doesn’t matter if they are members of our organization or not! A percentage of all the of sales comes back to us...it’s like tithing by going out to eat. That sure appeals to the multi-tasker in me!

If you have services or items you would like to donate for an auction or drawing, please share your ideas with me or Rev. Ginny, as we plan to do this multiple times to help
attract abundance to our church. What better way to do that...a night of food and fun!

The date is Wednesday, August 11, the time is 5-9 PM...and we look forward to seeing you and your family, friends and neighbors there.
