The understanding and realization of GOD being the very mind and life and substance of man’s earthly existence must be as much a part of man’s consciousness as are human relationships. We must learn to know that GOD is Spirit and that his Spirit within us is the motive power which carries us forward in every department of our daily living.
Children should be taught GOD is Spirit and that the purpose of their being is to express GOD. They should be trained in the faith and understanding which makes them to know that they express the spirit of GOD in their every intention and thought and act. The child’s mind accords perfectly with true ideas and it is easy to rear children in conscious Unity with GOD when they are encouraged through faith to claim their Sonship.

Greetings from Y’ed
We have just passed the Summer Solstice which marks the longest Day (hours
of sunlight) of the year. Many ancient cultures celebrated this day with
ritual, ceremony and celebration. It was another reminder that as humans we
are all part of the larger rhythms and cycles of nature. From a spiritual
perspective this represents a transition into latent potency and the
potential for growth. The longer days mean time for more activity and a
chance to express our potentialities. Summer is also a time for families to
spend huge amounts of quality time together. A time to live, to laugh and to
learn.
At Unity Fellowship we honor this opportunity for parents and their children
to deepen the family relationship and to share the joys with others that
this brings.
Our "Star Studded Summer Sundays" are an excellent way for families to share
time learning about the gifts that other deeply talented and spirit - based
people are willing to give so freely.
Over the next few weeks we will have :
Madeenah..... with a message of healing and meditation
Zen Chef........ demonstrating culinary arts as the children help prepare a
picnic for the congregation
Beth Robertson......with songs from the heart for little voices
Amy & Deb....... the history and spiritual aspects of mask making
Again, all are invited to these summer activities, parents,children and
guests. Also, please bring a favorite dish to share with the congregation on
July 4th for our summer picnic.
The car wash raised close to 100 dollars for the children's activity fund.
They worked very hard and learned an excellent lesson in cooperation and
working together for a worthy goal.
We also had a wonderful time on Father's Day as Ranier Windsong led the
group in a drumming circle. She brought an assortment of instruments from
all over the world.
We learned simple rhythms and chanted as she shared her knowledge and
passion for the function and art of sacred music from all over the planet.
We hope to see you soon on Sunday. Bring a friend (or two). Enjoy the
